Learning Eddies: Culturally Responsive Curriculum for Diverse Learners
Our signature is to infuse culturally responsive pedagogy throughout every learning solution to give learner motivation a boost and ensure knowledge retention that leads to long-term impact.

Learning new concepts and skills can feel like swimming upstream in a rapidly flowing river. A current of confusing jargon, complex subject matter, and contextually vacant coursework bombard learners, impeding development. Our learning solutions are like strategically placed boulders that provide shelter to create a welcoming and invigorating learning experience. We call these innovative, culturally responsive training and learning programs “learning eddies.”
In addition to determining performance needs, we collect data during our comprehensive needs assessment to fully understand the learners’ culturally-influenced motivations. Whether live workshops, eLearning, or a blended approach that mixes live and online options, the resulting learning solution contains culturally relevant curriculum that gets measurable results.

Identity is a complex subject and can involve sensitive topics. DRC LS had a respectful approach to teaching that generated a learning environment where all students and faculty felt at ease contributing to classroom discussions.
